NORTH GLENROTHES COMMUNITY COUNCIL.
Minutes of meeting held on Thursday 13th August 2009 at Christ's Kirk, Pitcoudie.
1. Chairperson Ron Page opened the meeting by welcoming all present and especially two new members, Alex Davie and Jim Lewis.
2. He then introduced the speaker, Chris Ewing, the environment Sustainability Officer

Apologies were intimated from Jean Archer, Colin Nikolic and Councillor Beare.

7. Reports:
(a) Denise Wallace gave an up-
(b) Evlyn Allsop reported on the Fun Day. She spoke of the need for detailed expenditure from Fife Council’s services of £899.26. She thanked all who had worked for and supported the event, including their families, especially since the weather had been inclement and various changes of plans.
8. Glenrothes Area Futures Group report was made by Ron, who spoke of confusion re. the Sainsbury coming. He intimated that the A92 petition was scheduled for Parliament on 8th September.
9. Several questions were directed at the councillors -
(a) Serious concerns of residents in Lismore Court about gardens and parking.
(b) Scooter users and their use of footpaths. Members were asked to identify and then contact the Council.
10. Under AOCB, there was a suggested removal of a public bench near Ballingal Drive and an urgent need for dog litter bins in Gilvenbank Park. The chairperson congratulated Shaun Jackson on the NGCC website, from which one resident had made contact stating concerns about the play area around Maree Park and another had contacted re. a Beechwood play area. Cllr. Morrison agreed to investigate these.
11. Next Meeting declared to be Thursday 10th September in Collydean Neighbourhood Centre. The speaker would be Mary Hill from the YMCA/YWCA.
