NORTH GLENROTHES COMMUNITY COUNCIL.
Minutes of meeting held on Thursday 14 January 2010 Christ’s Kirk Church Hall
1. Chair : Ron Page opened the meeting and welcomed Lisa Taylor, Community Warden, speaker for the evening in the absence of Greig Henderson.
Advised the Community Police would no longer be attending meetings although assured they would attend tonight to explain future changes.
An impromptu meeting was held with Kim Wyllie from Wickstead ref. gym equipment.
Reminded all present of the NGFG AGM to be held at the CISWO on Wednesday 27th January.
Requested all present to give opinion on grit bins by end of meeting.
Police Officers arrived to explain why in future they would not be attending Community Council meetings. Sheila Scott, Community Officer, advised she will now be covering Coull, Pitcoudie, Collydean, Pitcairn & Whinneyknowe areas.
Jim Lessells and Barry Liddell will cover Balfarg, Cadham & Pitcoudie areas.

Apologies were intimated from Tony Groundwater, Jim Lewis, Jean Archer & Grieg Henderson.

Community Wardens are contactable at the Glenwood Centre. Lisa has agreed to compile a list of associated groups in the area and pass it to CC in future.
Ian Lister brought the issues of Lismore Court to Lisa’s attention, although not familiar with the situation she will mention it to Greig Henderson.
Ron thanked Lisa and invited her and her team to attend the Fun Day.
4. Minutes of the last meeting were approved.
5. Matters Arising :
Lismore Court – Remains on table for Grieg Henderson.
North Glen Medical Practice – Ron wrote inviting a representative to a meeting – no reply. Ron to write again.
Minutes to Gazette – Colin to submit a copy of minutes with cover letter.
Post Office – Meeting at CISWO 22nd January @ 2.00pm.
Rail concession – Reply from Bob McLellan – concerns noted.

8. Committees/Groups:

Grit Bins – It was agreed the Secretary would write to the Chief Executive voicing the opinion of the Community Council ref lack of grit and grit bins.
9. Questions to Councillors -
Overflowing bins – Excess bags were being removed and left on the road.
Cllr Morrison to contact Greig Henderson to arrange a possible ‘walkaround’ of Lismore Court and surrounding areas with Ron Page, Ian Lister & Cllr Morrison ref, white lines, unkempt gardens and overgrown hedges and trees
10. AOCB – It was agreed to invite Greig Henderson to next meeting.
Secretary to invite ASCC Executive Council Members to speak at future meeting.
