Our campaign on the A92 as it runs alongside the town is well on its way. We have had meetings the MSP, FC officials and Scottish Transport since this trunk road is the responsibility of the Scottish Parliament. We have even raised the the possibility a Glenrothes bypass!But we are still waiting.
No one appears to be willing to act on behalf of this community. No one seems willing to regard A92 improvement as an aid to the economy.
What is being sought is either (1) a full dual carriageway or (2) a new road parallel to the existing A92 or (3) a bypass from the Redhouse roundabout area.
All that is happening is that 2 slight improvements are pending: no right turn into Cadham Road from the north and the abolition of the slipway across the from car wash.
